Why choose an APIL lawyer? Look out for the APIL quality mark

All APIL members sign up to the APIL code of conduct and consumer charter when they join the association. Both of these guides ensure that an APIL member will act in your best interests at all times.

APIL membership on its own, however, is not evidence of experience, expertise, nor competence which is why many APIL members have now applied for and been accepted to the APIL accreditation scheme. APIL accreditation is overseen by an independent Academic Quality Council and is well established. It has been running since September 1999.

An APIL accredited injury lawyer will provide you with legal assistance if you have had a personal injury or contracted an illness or disease caused by someone else’s negligence.

An APIL accredited injury lawyer is committed to acting in your best interests at all times. He or she will explain how much compensation you may be entitled to and will always give you clear and honest advice with your welfare in mind. APIL accredited injury lawyer are specialists and receive ongoing training to make sure they are always up to date with the latest developments in personal injury law. Depending on the nature of your injury, an APIL accredited lawyer aims to restore you back to your former way of life as much as possible.

Levels of accreditation

There are different levels of accreditation which APIL lawyers can achieve depending on their experience and areas of specialisation.

When you contact an APIL accredited lawyer, you can ask what level of accreditation he or she has and, whether he or she has experience in dealing with your particular type of injury.
