Bridget has always worked as a Claimant solicitor in personal injury litigation. She is based in the Northwest working with GLP and specialising in abuse and brain injury applications to the CICA and military claims under the AFCS. This caseload goes to the heart of working for those injured at no fault of their own and who need our help both in good professional efficient service with an understanding of their problems and issues. Previously she has been a partner with Fentons and Slater & Gordon after the merger where she had good experience of management within a large team who specialised in industrial disease work and before that with Stephensons.
Bridget’s has assisted APIL for many year and has sat on the executive committee for the last 3 years. Her input ranges from attending the general meetings to specific campaigns such as fighting for the improvement of bereavement damages, to sitting on the Diffuse Mesothelioma Scheme Oversight Committee to sitting down at the Civil Justice Counsel to advise on the changes demanded to bringing noise induced hearing loss claims. Prior to sitting on the executive committee she co ordinate the northwest regional meetings of APIL for many years.
