About Anna Vroobel

I am an Associate Solicitor based in the clinical negligence team in London, specialising in negligence claims on behalf of patients and their families. I deal with a wide range of claims including:

• For adults who have sustained a brain injury - with particular expertise in stroke cases;

• For children who have suffered injuries at birth - with particular expertise in cerebral palsy caused by HIE and hyperbilirubinemia (kernicterus);

• Fatal cases- with particular expertise in maternal or paternal death cases;

• Bladder and bowel injury cases - with particular expertise in assisting clients who have developed urinary or bowel dysfunction either through surgical negligence or through development of spinal conditions such as cauda equina or cancer.

I manage a varied caseload including surgical, orthopaedic, obstetric, neonatal and neurological injuries cases as well as claims where a death has occurred as a result of negligence. I have experience with representation of families at inquests, including Article 2 inquests before a jury.

My particular area of interest and expertise relates to assisting clients who have sustained bladder or bowel injuries. I understand how challenging it can be to live with a stoma or to suffer from urgency and incontinence and I have experience in how to best support clients to manage this type of injury. I also have experience in representing and supporting clients reliant on parenteral feeding (intravenous artificial nutrition).
