About James Thompson

James is the head of department at Ison Harrison Solicitors and deals with cases for both adults and children.  He specialises in catastrophic injuries including: cerebral and Erb's palsy; and amputation cases.  He is the only Erb's Palsy Group recommended solicitor in the North of England.

He takes the time to communicate with his clients in clear, plain language to explain complex legal and medical jargon.  It is very important to him that his clients are armed with all of the facts and advice they need to make an informed decision about how to conduct their claim.

He is a self-confessed legal geek and enjoys the technical aspects of the law and medicine, but he is also a father, husband and son who understands that getting answers and a timely resolution is paramount to his client's wellbeing. 

James is a Law Society Panel Member, APIL Senior litigator, a member of AvMA, the Leeds Medico-legal society and Leeds Law Society. James is also a Director of the charity Little Hiccups. Little Hiccups is a Leeds based support group for families with children with special needs.
