About Jan Markland

Augustines Injury Law is the personal injury division of legal firm Veale Wasbrough Vizards.

I have over 20 years experience advising victims of accidents and specialise in serious injuries including accidents at work, medical accidents and serious road traffic accidents.

I have the personal experience to guide you through the claims process to maximise your claim compensation and my skills and expertise will help you through what can be a stressful and difficult time for you and your family.

We can deal with any type of personal injury claim for compensation, such as those arising from:

• Accidents at work

Road traffic accidents

• Work place diseases

(asbestos related illness; asthma; vibration white finger; hearing loss, work related upper limb disorders)

• Slips & trips

• Holiday accidents

• Faulty goods

• Injuries caused by animals

• Medical negligence

I have dedicated my working career to helping victims of accidents and am passionate to ensure that claimants are treated with respect and concern during the claims process. With an accident prone husband and son I can empathize with the disruption that any injury causes to work and home life.

I am a fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and co author of the association's Personal Injury Manual, and I am a member of the Bristol Medico-Legal Society. I was appointed a Deputy District Judge on the Midlands Circuit in May 2015 by the Lord Chief Justice.
