About Kevin Saul
I am a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Medical Negligence Team at Irwin Mitchell LLP (Manchester) and I am a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme.
I qualified in 2002 and have practised exclusively in medical negligence since that time. I have recovered millions of pounds in compensation for Claimants. Although I undertake the full range of medical negligence work, I have specific interests and expertise in claims involving fatalities, oral cancer and spinal injury cases (including cauda equina syndrome).
Throughout my career I have fought for Claimants who have had traumatic experiences of healthcare and have been left with serious and debilitating injuries. I recognise the importance of an individual and tailored approach to each case. I have a particular interest in rehabilitation opportunities for Claimants.
I regularly represent Claimants at Court, whether this is in relation to inquests or civil claims.
I have experience of claims involving periodical payments orders, provisional damages, product liability, professional negligence and group action work (I assisted the Steering Committee of the Royal Liverpool Children's Hospital Organ Retention Litigation).
I have contributed on behalf of Claimants and patient bodies in the media and have featured on Granada Reports, BBC Midlands Today, BBC Radio Wales and ITV Calendar News.
