About Neil Clayton
I am a Partner at Lime Solicitors (part of Shakespeare Martineau LLP) and specialise in Medical Negligence Claims. I act exclusively for Claimants and am a member of the Law Society's Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme.
I started working in Leicester for Harvey Ingram as a Trainee Solicitor in 1999 and have been with the firm ever since, becoming a Partner in 2014 after we had merged with Shakespeares.
My team and I deal with all types of medical negligence claims including for example, birth injuries, gynaecological claims, orthopaedic claims, dental claims, and claims involving elderly clients. I am happy to deal with any case with reasonable prospects of success whether it be worth a few thousand pounds to over a million.
Outside of work I am very keen on Rugby and Cricket. I have been a member of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club for over 20 years. Member of Loughborough Students RFC. I have always been interested in local and national politics and was a City Councillor in Leicester between 2010 and 2015.
