About Sam Collard
Sam is an Associate in Osbornes' Catastrophic Injury Department, who specialises in complex and high value claims, including brain and spinal injuries, fatalities, loss of limbs and severe psychiatric harm.
Sam qualified as a Solicitor in 2011 and became an Associate in 2016. He has built up a wealth of experience acting for Claimants in Employers' Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accident cases. Sam has also developed productive relationships with many of the leading Personal Injury barristers in London.
Sam runs his own case load of high value claims and also works closely with Ben Posford, Osbornes' Head of Catastophic Injury. He believes in seeking justice for his clients by offering clear and concise legal advice.
Some of Sam's recent cases include:
- Representing a lady who has suffered a traumatic brain injury following a RTA;
- Representing a 26 year old lady in a claim pleaded at in excess of £1million who had her fingers cut off in a workplace accident;
- Acting for a man who was blinded in one eye following an accident at work;
- Acting for a man who sustained a cauda equina syndrome injury (a type of spinal cord injury) whilst lifting in the workplace;
Sam is an APIL Accredited Senior Litigator and a member of the London Cycling Campaign (LCC).
In his spare time Sam enjoys playing football and cycling.
