About Steven Simpkins
Steve Simpkins, Solicitor and Principal of Simpkins & Co, specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence compensation claims, having over 25 years’ experience in these areas. As well as attaining Senior Litigator status with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), he’s also a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel. In addition to this, he’s an expert in employment law and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Steve is Southampton born and completed his legal training with a Southampton firm. After that, Steve became a partner at a firm of solicitors in Bournemouth before establishing Simpkins & Co in Highcliffe, Dorset in May 2004. The company is a Corporate Member of the Spinal Injuries Association and Steve is a Trustee Board Member for the New Forest Citizens Advice. He takes a keen interest in this vital charity, which provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities.
In 2015, Simpkins & Co opened another office in central London to meet the needs of their growing client base in that area. The firm also has many clients in the Southampton/South Coast areas, including the Isle of Wight.
Steve also created a Polish division and he now employs a full-time Polish Solicitor and a Polish Litigation Executive, who advise their Polish clients living and working in the UK.
Apart from English and Polish, the other languages spoken at Simpkins & Co are Hungarian, Romanian and Russian.
Steve lives in the New Forest and enjoys most sports, music, art and film. Steve has a son, Louie, and a daughter, India.
