Clinical Negligence / Personal Injury Paralegal (Fixed Term Contract)

Mayo Wynne Baxter is looking for a Paralegal to join its successful team in Brighton for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Paralegal (or equivalent) in a legal environment as part of a Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury or Litigation team.
A very high degree of accuracy and organisational skills is paramount, with a ‘can do’ attitude to undertake multiple tasks and work as part of a team. A high standard of interpersonal and communication skills is vital, especially in the context of client care. The successful candidate will also be IT literate.
Key Tasks
- Conduct low value PI claims
- To assess all new client enquiries for the department and ascertain whether a client claim is viable and discuss these claims with Head of Department
- To attend clients on the telephone
- Reading medical records and preparing a summary of facts
- To assist the Legal Advisers in the Department with cases
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm
