About Grant Evatt

Grant is a member of the APIL Executive Commitee and a highly regarded personal injury lawyer.

He is the founder and Managing Director of Alma Law (Ltd), which he established in November 2017.  A former soldier and commissioned reserve army officer, he enlisted with the Royal Artillery aged 16 and after a year at the Junior Leaders Regiment RA he volunteered for and passed the All Arms Commando Course at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines (CTCRM). He served at home and abroad with 29 Commando Regiment RA with whom he was a Platoon weapons instructor, parachutist, diver and an expert in both jungle and mountain and arctic warfare. Injury caused him to bring his military career to a premature end. A one year 'sabbatical' working as a deep sea diver in Hong Kong was followed by an LLB (Hons) degree in Business Law at Bournemouth University and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Guildford.  Grant is an APIL Senior Litigator and has been accredited by the Law Society as a Personal Injury specialist since 2005.  Grant is a volunteer caseworker for SSAFA the Armed Forces charity.
