About Laura Barlow
Laura is an Associate in the clinical negligence department. She has specific expertise in claims involving adult brain injury. She has a particular interest in cases involving a delay in diagnosis and treatment of stroke or brain infections, such as meningitis or encephalitis. Laura is driven to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients to enable them to rebuild their lives.
Laura also has an established reputation in cases involving neglect of vulnerable people, having successfully represented the relatives of the elderly residents at Orchid View Care Home. She continues to campaign for better standards of residential nursing care for the elderly.
In addition to the above, Laura has represented a number of clients who suffer from Erb’s palsy as a result of brachial plexus injuries. She also has significant experience in representing the families of patients who have sadly died as a result of negligent treatment, including mental health care.

Outside work Laura volunteers for her local Age Concern befriending service. She has fundraised for a number of charities, including the Stroke Association, Meningitis Now and Headway.
