About Phillip Gower

Phillip joined Simpson Millar in May 2005 and set up and heads the Cardiff Office. Phillip has over 20 years expertise of conducting Personal Injury Litigation on behalf of Claimants.

He specializes in asbestos , industrial disease and head injury claims and has recovered damages in one of the highest awards approved by the High Court in Wales in a brain injury case.

Phillip has an interest in advising clients living abroad with asbestos exposure claims and has dealt with a large number of claims with clients in Australia, South Africa, America, Europe and Canada.

Phillip has a keen interest in marine conservation. He is a Scuba Diver who has recorded over 150 dives including an environmental survey. Outside of the office and diving he continues to support his local Headway charity and Pro bono legal advice
