Prison compensation lawyers

Prison

Prisoners are entitled to serve their sentence with a reasonable standard of living. The Prison Service has a duty to ensure the safety of inmates and provide safe living and working conditions. The Prison Service also has a duty to protect vulnerable inmates from attacks by other inmates. Whilst prisoners forego some of their rights for the duration of their sentence, they maintain the right to compensation for an injury that was not their fault.
