Ana is the president of the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL) as well as co-chair of the International Section of the American Association for Justice (AAJ).
She is a partner in the Spanish firm Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo where she heads the tort law and personal injury team.
Ana is a recognised personal injury litigator with more than 20 years of experience representing clients in Spanish and international tort claims and has acted in different areas such as travel related claims, clinical negligence, product liability, aviation and cross border road traffic accidents.
Furthermore, Ana is also specialised in catastrophic injuries such as brain and spinal injuries.
Her extensive experience in the international litigation field has been developed in several international firms such as Illouz García in Paris and Liddell Zurbrugg in London. Ana then joined Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, London, in 2003 as an associate in the international travel litigation group. She was in charge of the personal injury department of Irwin Mitchell abogados in Spain from 2008 until 2013 when she joined Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo Abogados.

Academic Education
Ana graduated in Law (University of Oviedo) in 1997 and studied one year at Thames Valley University (London). She has also participated in several courses in the medico legal field and in different educational programs and seminars from universities, law bars and personal injury organisations, both in Spain and internationally, including product liability, aviation, European regulations or road traffic accidents.
Conferences
Ana appears regularly as speaker at numerous conferences and seminars organised by PEOPIL, the Pontifical University of Comillas, the Spanish Public Prosecutor Office, Outer Temple Chambers, the Gibraltar Insurance Institute, AAJ and APIL. Ana is also an associated professor of tort law in the International University of Andalucia and the University of Málaga.
