Suzi Donoghue

Suzi Donoghue retired from the Regular Army in 2018 after achieving the rank of Colonel. Her military career spanned some 30 years, including both Regular and Reserve service and numerous deployments across the world.  She led and commanded at every level with operational experience that includes Afghanistan, Iraq, Northern Ireland and the Balkans.  Additionally, she spent time as a staff officer in various headquarters in the areas of logistic support, H&S, audits and inspections, policy and human resources. She also had the unique opportunity to be an instructor and mentor for both Army recruits and junior Majors.

On a personal note, she overcame many challenges whilst serving and was instrumental in changing two Army policies which had previously discriminated against pregnant women. Against significant competition she was selected for a prestigious leadership course which only the top 10% of Army officers attend. As a wife and mum of two young men, she is no stranger to being the sole female in a predominantly male environment.

After retiring from the Army, Suzi qualified as a Level 7 Executive Coach and Mentor (ILM) and established her own company, providing corporate coaching and consultancy services, supporting individual and team development. For the past two years she has also been the CEO of DJ Fox & Associates, a company of employment expert witnesses who produce reports covering most employment areas.

With a strong passion for most sports, she runs long distance, cycles, does boxing and is an Ironman triathlete.
