Burnley solicitor leads fight for the rights of injured people

18 May 2017
APIL news

A Burnley solicitor is taking on the top role for a not-for-profit organisation which campaigns for the rights of injured people.

Brett Dixon is the new president of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) which is dedicated to improving the law for people made ill or injured through no fault of their own.

“In my role as president I am looking forward to helping APIL provide injured people with a much-needed voice,” said Brett.

“The underlying principle of all APIL’s campaign work is to achieve fairness for injured people and their families. I am committed to making people understand that the people who are confined to their homes, unable to look after themselves or their families could be any one of us and that they deserve to be treated fairly by society.”

Brett works primarily with people who have been injured at work, and people whose injuries are life-changing.
