About Alpa Rana
Alpa is a specialist in medical negligence claims with over 11 years of post-qualification experience.
She specialises in high-value and complex medical negligence claims, including cases involving fatal accidents, sepsis, amputations, delayed diagnosis of cancer, surgical errors, optical injuries, baby loss, cerebral palsy, and Cauda Equina Syndrome.
Alpa has a proven track record of managing sensitive and emotionally challenging cases with both skill and empathy.
Her approach combines legal expertise with genuine compassion, ensuring clients feel heard, supported, and fully informed throughout the litigation process. A member of Alpa’s family successfully brought a claim for medical negligence following a delay in diagnosis of cancer, which gives Alpa a special understanding of the devastation negligent treatment can have on a person, their family and how challenging the litigation process can be for a client.
Before training as a solicitor, Alpa has worked and volunteered for the Citizens Advice Service in Leicestershire and Rutland. Alpa has represented both defendants and claimants in the past, which enables her to provide an insight on all aspects of the litigation process.
Alpa is a member of the Law Society and holds Senior Litigator accreditation with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). Alpa can speak Gujarati and is able to communicate in basic Hindi.
