About APIL training

Continuing professional development is essential to keep personal injury lawyers equipped with sufficient legal knowledge, understanding and skills to run their caseload competently.

APIL accredits offices to run their legal training in-house, accredits certain courses run by other providers and barristers’ chambers, and also runs its own programme of over 120 training events nationwide - see below.

To maintain APIL’s high quality standards, all accredited legal training is carefully monitored and the feedback scrutinised by APIL’s training & accreditation committee and executive.

Accredited CPD

Accredited members can accrue up to 10 CPD hours out of the 16 accredited hours required to maintain accredited status via distance learning.
