About Cenric Clement-Evans
APIL Fellow Cenric Clement-Evans is a solicitor at NewLaw Cardiff specialising in workplace injuries, with his work including accidents at work and asbestos injuries. Cenric was a member of APIL’s executive committee from 2008 until 2017. He previously served as co-ordinator and secretary of APIL’s special interest group on occupational health and co-ordinator of APIL Wales between 1998 and 2008. Cenric has lectured on APIL’s ‘Accidents at Work’ series for many years previously with Nigel Tomkins and now with Brett Dixon. He has spoken at and chaired many APIL industrial disease conferences including APIL's Asbestos conferences.
Cenric is the Secretary of the Cross Party Group on Asbestos at the National Assembly for Wales http://senedd.assembly.wales/mgOutsideBodyDetails.aspx?ID=442 He is spokesperson for the Right to Know: Asbestos in Schools Campaign Wales, as well as being a member of the Asbestos in Schools Group Committee and an observer member of the Joint Union Asbestos Committee @theJUAC for whom he tweets!.
He is named in the Chambers guide to the UK legal profession. Cenric, a Welsh speaker born in Liverpool in 1962, is a graduate of the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth. He lives in Cardiff and is married to Louise with two sons, Tomos Cian and Osian Hedd. He is a devotee of the ‘School of Science.’ He tweets in English and Welsh as @cenricce
