About Edward Myers
Ed has spent the last 30 years as a personal injury lawyer. Specialising in injuries of maximum severity he is an APIL Accredited Brain Injury Specialist and also an Accredited Spinal Injury Specialist. In addition, he has a strong reputation in relation to fatal accidents, industrial diseases, and claims of maximum severity to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.
A former editor of the journal of Personal Injury Litigation, Ed is an APIL Fellow. For many years he lectured in various aspects of personal injury law to other solicitors. He has contributed articles to a variety of publications dealing with personal injury law.
As an Accredited Spinal Injury Specialist, Ed has received instructions from a number of clinicians, on behalf of their patients, and has achieved a number of multimillion pounds settlements. As a brain injury specialist, he receives referrals from a variety of organisations including Headway – the Brain Injury Association. He is, and has for the last 15 years, been Chair of the Trustees of Headway Nottingham.
For the last 20 years Ed has sat as a Judge in the First Tier Tribunal.
