About Guy Forster

I am a Partner in the Medical Negligence team at Fieldfisher. I have specialised in claimant medical negligence litigation and inquests for more than 20 years, handling high-profile and maximum severity complex cases. I take on a wide range of cases for adults and children, particularly those involving birth injury (cerebral palsy) and neonatal injury, brain and spinal injury, amputation and wrongful birth. I often act in cases involving the death of a family member, including representing families at inquest, many of which have generated vital change to practices to improve patient safety. I offer a holistic approach to supporting clients, using the litigation process to meet my client’s individual needs, primarily compensation and rehabilitation, but also to provide answers, generate formal apology and to influence change. I am a fierce advocate for the rights of harmed patients and the need for good rehabilitation.

I am currently Vice President of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
