Helen investigates clinical negligence claims on behalf of patients and their families. She brings medical negligence claims against all types of medical practices, both private and NHS.
She has a particular interest and expertise in cases involving the delay in diagnosis and/or mistreatment of cancer. In particular she has acted on cases involving cervical cancer, breast cancer, lung, liver and head/neck/throat cancer cases.
Her previous work within the mental health field has also allowed her to gain insight and experience into cases concerning the failure to section and undertake an adequate risk assessment and treat psychological disorders.
She is passionate about acting for children whom have been the victim of medical negligence and ensuring that parent’s concerns are voiced, hospital procedures are reviewed and the child has access to treatment.
