About Iain Dodd
Iain is a Partner and Head of Medical Negligence, Leeds, and is proud to supervise a team of excellent lawyers. He and his team are dedicated to ensuring his clients can maximise their life after injury.
Iain is an APIL Accredited Senior Litigator and is a member of the Law Society’s Clinical Negligence Accreditation scheme. He is also a solicitor-advocate, with Accredited Higher Rights of Audience.
Iain specialises in catastrophic injury clinical negligence cases and has recovered tens of millions of pounds in compensation for his clients and has achieved many multi-million pound settlements. Iain largely investigates clinical negligence claims for brain injuries, spinal cord injury, amputations and birth injury.
Iain is ranked as a Leading Partner in the Legal 500 and in ‘Band 2' by Chambers & Partners for Claimant clinical negligence.
Iain was a contributor to the 2016 Thalidomide Trust, loss of earnings and pension among survivors report, which was aimed at demonstrating the impact of Thalidomide impairments and health problems on work, earnings and pensions.
