About Ian Rees
Ian Rees is a Director and Head of the Personal Injury team at JCP Solicitors, with over 28 years’ experience in pursuing complex and high-value personal injury claims. He qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and has built a strong reputation for representing individuals who have sustained life-changing injuries through no fault of their own.
Ian specialises in serious and complex injury claims, including spinal injuries, severe orthopaedic trauma, loss of limb, polytrauma, industrial disease and fatal accidents. He is known for his pragmatic and client-focused approach, ensuring that early rehabilitation, appropriate expert evidence and interim funding are prioritised wherever possible.
As Head of Department, Ian oversees a multidisciplinary team handling a broad range of personal injury work, while continuing to act personally on the most complex matters. He is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients and their families, recognising the significant physical, emotional and financial impact that serious injury can have.
Ian is a fluent Welsh speaker and is able to advise and deal with clients in both Welsh and English.
