James is a Partner and Head of the Asbestos Litigation Team at GA Solicitors in Plymouth. His experience dealing with mesothelioma cases is recognised on a national basis. Many of James' clients have been exposed to asbestos at Dockyards including Devonport, Portsmouth and Chatham.  He also has a strong reputation for industrial deafness litigation and has recovered significant damages in public and employer liability cases.

James is a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel.  He is also accreditated as an Occupational Disease and Asbestos Disease Specialist with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) of which he was the second in the country to be appointed.  James has also been accreditated as a national assessor to support the APIL accreditation scheme. He has also been awarded the acclaimed Fellow status by APIL. James is Treasurer of the Plymouth Law Society and an active participant of the South West Mesothelioma Support Group.
