About Lisa Fairclough
I am an Associate Solicitor in Irwin Mitchell's Serious Injury Team. I help people who have suffered major injuries, often crush injuries, fractures (to one or several bones), burns, amputations and/or psychological symptoms caused by their accident and head injuries.
I have worked in law since 1996 and qualified as a solicitor in 1999. I specialise in helping those injured in road accidents and in workplace accidents. I have experience of claims arising in almost every type of work environment (ranging from building sites, factories, farms, and steelworks to office environments). My aim for my clients is not only to obtain compensation for their injuries, but also to enable people to access rehabilitation that will help them get to their best level of recovery as quickly as possible.
I also have an interest in psychological injuries and have appeared on Panorama discussing the impact of psychological injuries such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and have represented the families of those involved in fatal workplace accidents. In addition I also have a particular interest in developments in relation to prosthetics and how these can benefit those who have lost limbs or fingers/toes.
Outside of work I spend a lot of time standing on the sidelines of (mostly freezing cold) football pitches to watch my son’s team play. I also enjoy eating out, cinema and walking in the Peaks.
I am an APIL Accredited Senior Litigator, with APIL having checked my expertise and competency in representing claimants in personal injury cases. I am always happy to have a chat about your accident and answer any initial questions you may have with no obligation.
