Melanie is a senior litigator and  BRain injury specialist at RWKGoodman.  She represents the interests of claimants who have sustained brain and / or spinal injuries.  She is an APIL Senior Litigatior and APIL Brain Injury Specialist.

Melanie has experience in representing Claimants and Defendants in relation to road traffic accidents, accidents at work and public liability claims. She now specialises in representing Claimants who have sustained severe brain, spinal and orthopaedic injuries. She has experience of working with claimants who lack the capacity to manage their own litigation and property and financial affairs. She led cases involving settlement on a periodical payment basis and involving protected parties requiring settlement approval. Melanie works closely with Claimants’ their families, professional deputies, case managers and multidisciplinary rehabilitation providers throughout the duration of the claim.

She graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Law and Criminology in 2003, qualifying in 2010 and joining RWKGoodman in December 2024.
