About Parbeen Alamgir

Parbeen is an Associate and birth injury specialist solicitor.  She has been employed by the Fletchers Group since April 2018.

Parbeen qualified as a solicitor in 2012. Since her qualification, she has represented Claimants in catastrophic and high value clinical negligence claims. The last 4-5 years, Parbeen has focused her practice on birth injury claims, in particular hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, cerebral palsy, hypoglycaemic insult, encephalitis etc. Parbeen was promoted to an Associate in 2022 and manages a birth injury team.

Parbeen advises clients on maximum severity birth injury cases, often dealing with claims exceeding £5 million to £20+ million in the High Court.

Parbeen’s passion, empathy, and determination to help extremely vulnerable clients has led to successful outcomes for her clients. Her own experience has allowed her a deep understanding of the emotional and extremely difficult challenges her clients and their families often face. It has been said that "When it comes to complex, life changing and particularly sensitive injuries, Parbeen has outstanding aptitude."

Her “industrious attention to detail, perseverance, analysis and client skills” makes her a trusted advocate for her clients and to her team.

Parbeen also works collaboratively with Defendant law firms, in particular the NHSR’s  Early Notification Scheme where she has successfully obtained several admissions on birth injury claims.

Parbeen is respected amongst her peers in the legal industry and her compassion and empathetic nature makes her a highly effective birth injury specialist solicitor.

Parbeen is a passionate supporter of Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT), a charity that supports families and professionals working with children having sustained a brain injury. Parbeen engages in fundraising, supporting events and helping CBIT raise their presence and profile both locally and nationally.

Parbeen has partnered and supports Rainbow Hub, which is a charity that provides rehab services to children and young people with physical disabilities as a result of neurological condition/brain injury. Parbeen attends fundraising events, has participated in a legal clinic as well as supporting sponsored events for them. Parbeen is a regular visitor and her work with Rainbow Hub has allowed instruction of new clients.

Parbeen regularly supports many other charities and organisations that help support children and young people with neurological/brain injury. For example, Brainwave, Steps, Peeps-HIE etc. Following her own birth experience, Parbeen also supports Tommy’s and is passionate about making maternity care safer in the UK.
