About Philip Edwards

I am a Partner in the Serious Injury team at Hugh James in Cardiff and Southampton. I have specialised for many years in claims involving brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple orthopaedic and amputation cases and fatal claims. I have particular experience in dealing with the effects of road traffic crashes, and indeed accidents at work and for many years have campaigned for improving health and safety in both areas so that future accidents can be avoided wherever possible. I am accredited by APIL as a "Senior Litigator" and have "Specialist Brain Injury Accreditation" My approach to litigation is highly rehabilitative, and I look to work in partnership with the entire team supporting seriously injured clients. 

I have contributed to two books, one on Personal Injury Claims, the other about Fatal Accidents, which were produced by the PEOPIL Research Group and were presented to the European Parliament. I have written numerous articles, particularly in the field of rehabilitation following brain injury which have been published in medical and legal journals nationally.
