About Phillip Gower
Phillip joined Emsleys Solictors to set up and lead the Cardiff Office. Phillip has over 25 years’ expertise of conducting Personal Injury Litigation on behalf of Claimants.
Phillip is an Accredited Asbestos Specialist and Occupational Disease Specialist and also is an assessor for the accreditation of other lawyers within the field.Phillip works across the UK for asbestos clients and from Emsleys offices in Carddiff , Bristol and Leeds
He specialises in asbestos exposure, industrial disease including respiratory injury claims together with head injury claims . He was responsible for recovering damages in one of the highest awards approved by the High Court in Wales in a brain injury case.
Phillip has an interest in advising clients living abroad with asbestos exposure claims and has dealt with a large number of claims with clients in Australia, South Africa, America, Europe and Canada.

Phillip has a keen interest in marine conservation. He is a Scuba Diver who has recorded over 150 dives including an environmental survey. Outside of the office and diving he continues to support his local Headway charity and Pro Bono legal advice.
