About Richard Edwards

I am the Principal Solicitor and Founder of Richard Edwards & Co Solicitors and Advocates, based in Liverpool. I am one of only two solicitors in Liverpool to hold accredited staus as a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

I am a Solicitor-Advocate and I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2002 with first class honours in law. From there studied at the college of law in Chester. 

For over 20 years I have handled unusual, complicated and high value personal injury claims. I have many years experience bringing claims for those who have suffered brain, spinal and amputation injuries.

I have dealt with claims in the Court of Appeal, High Court and in the US.

I am a passionate supporter of the rights of accident victims. I frequently write articles that have been published in a range of professional journals.

I also delivers seminars to other lawyers and expert witnesses.

I won Catastrophic Injury Lawyer of the Year in 2023 and I am recommended in Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 Directory. I also sit on the Board of Governors at the Expert Witness Insitute.
