About Simon Rooney

Simon is a Senior Associate Solicitor within the Switalski Personal Injury team based in London and surrounding areas. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2014 and has over 10 years of experience dealing primarily with claimant personal injury claims. He deals with a range of claims including road traffic, employers liability, industrial injuries, and public liability claims (slip and trip case). Simon has had significant successes during his personal injury career and has helped numerous clients through the claim process to successful conclusions. He has experience of taking claims up to and including trial in the High Court.

Whilst Simon manages a range of injury types in his caseload many of the injuries are significant, complex, and often catastrophic. Simon has a keen interest of dealing with cases where the claimants have developed complex symptoms of pain and go on to develop ‘Complex Regional Pain Syndrome’  (CRPS) and other chronic conditions.

Simon is an accredited Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). He once again was also named in the 2024 Legal 500 rankings which highlighted his client focussed approach to personal injury claims
