About Tim Gray

Tim was educated at Queen Mary’s Grammar School in Walsall and obtained an LLB (Hons) Law Degree at Wolverhampton University in 1984. Tim completed his law exams at Chester Law School in 1984 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1989. He completed his training contract at Enoch Evans in Walsall before moving to Cartwright and Lewis in Birmingham where he developed his interest in personal injury and medical negligence work. Tim joined fbc Solicitors as a solicitor in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department in 1994 and became a Partner in 1997.

Tim is an accomplished and very experienced personal injury and clinical negligence lawyer, having specialised in this field for over 20 years. Tim is Head of the Department and leads the Firm’s Clinical Negligence Team, in addition to managing other high value and complex multi track cases, often involving head and spinal injuries and cases of amputation.
He has concluded many significant and important claims for seriously injured claimants during recent years ranging between £3-£4 million pounds and is currently representing a claimant who has suffered a serious head injury and requires substantial care. The schedule of loss currently exceeds £30 million. Tim has great experience litigating the difficult issues that arise in these cases, such as the recovery of damages for care and the provision of statutory care services, negotiating and seeking approval of orders for periodical payments etc.

In his Leisure time, Tim enjoys supporting West Bromwich Albion with his son; supporting his son who plays Rugby for his current School’s Rugby first team (Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School), cooking, travel and keeping fit.
