About Tracey Storey

Tracey Storey is a partner in the personal injury department of Irwin Mitchell’s London office. She heads up the child abuse team at Irwin Mitchell. Whilst undertaking personal injury cases including head injuries, fatal claims and amputations, Tracey has developed special expertise in deliberate assault cases, child abuse claims and professional negligence actions against social services. Tracey is a fellow with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and secretary to APIL’s child abuse special interest group. She is a personal injury panel member and an executive committee officer with the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers. Tracey has been representing adult survivors of abuse since 1996 bringing claims in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. Since 1999, she has been involved in a number of cases involving London local authorities and she has also represented people abused whilst at school and whilst attending voluntary organisations. She has also sued national charities and has had cases against the Church and cases involving foster carers. Tracey joined Irwin Mitchell in April 2003 and prior to this, had worked at Russell Jones and Walker’s serious injuries unit. Tracey is a regular contributor to legal journals and provides training on child abuse compensation claims. Tracey regularly presents to charities concerned with child abuse.
