A London solicitor has taken on the role of vice-president of a national not-for-profit campaign group for injured people.

Jonathan Wheeler, partner and head of child abuse claims, at Bolt Burdon Kemp in Islington, will help to lead the 4,000 strong membership of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

“APIL embodies my passion for helping injured people to get back on their feet after needless injury,” said Jonathan. “I’m looking forward to working even harder to protect the rights of injured victims and helping with the association’s vital work”

“I hope to bring my experience of dealing with particularly harrowing and complex cases, to ensure that any proposed changes in law are based on justice for the vulnerable people who we are here to help.”
