London barrister takes on top role

APIL news

A London based barrister has been elected to the executive committee of a national not-for-profit campaign organisation for injured people.

Stephen Glynn, based in Chambers at 9 Gough Square, has joined the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers’ (APIL) committee to help lead the 4,000 strong membership.

“I’m really excited about taking on this new challenge and working with APIL on campaigns to ensure that the law works in the right way for those who need it to the most,” said Stephen.

“I’m particularly keen on projects to help victims of sexual abuse find the justice they need and in my 20 years as a barrister, I have built up significant experience in many other areas of personal injury law, especially with industrial disease, and particularly asbestos cases. I hope this experience will be a real benefit to the organisation.”
