Suzanne Trask

Suzanne is a partner at Bolt Burdon Kemp, a leading firm in serious injury claims based in London. She has specific expertise in complex claims involving serious brain injuries in adults and is passionate about resolving claims swiftly and without delay.

Suzanne understands the many differing ways in which a person can be individually affected by serious injury, whether caused by traumatic injury or clinical negligence. She is passionate about supporting survivors and is recognised as a specialist head injury lawyer by Headway.

She is a proud trustee of The Silverlinings, a national brain injury charity, which provides invaluable support and a friendly community to its members.

Suzanne is individually accredited with APIL as a Fellow and was secretary of the clinical negligence special interest group before joining the executive committee. She was elected as APIL’s Joint Vice-President in May 2022.  Suzanne is a member of and an assessor for both the APIL clinical negligence and brain injury specialist accreditation schemes. She has worked on a number of responses to government consultations, including that on fixed costs for clinical negligence claims.

She provided training to the Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch, and is on the Ogden Working Party.

Suzanne is frequently invited to comment in both national media and legal publications.
