Daniel O'Keeffe

Daniel O’Keeffe is an Director at Moosa-Duke Solicitors, a niche clinical negligence firm (band 1  Chambers and Partners).  

Daniel has worked at Moosa-Duke Solicitors since 2015 where he undertakes complex and high-value clinical negligence cases.  Daniel has a special interest in Cauda Equina Syndrome cases and in 2019 won compensation for the Claimant in a cauda equina case, following a three-week trial at the High Court in Leicester.  Daniel was recently awarded Senior Solicitor of the Year by the Leicestershire Law Society.  

Daniel undertook his training contract with Campbell Courtney and Cooney Solicitors, a niche personal injury firm based in Surrey.  On qualification, Daniel joined Henmans LLP (now part of the Freeth Group), working in the clinical negligence department.  In 2008, Daniel joined Russell-Cooke LLP working in their personal injury and clinical negligence department.  Daniel worked on many complex, high-value and sometimes high-profile cases.

Daniel is the Vice President of the Leicester Medico-Legal Society and was until recently the editor of the Leicestershire Law Society magazine.

Daniel has been a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) since 2008.  He previously was the secretary to the APIL Product Liability Special Interest Group and since 2015 has been the secretary to the APIL East Midlands Regional Group.
