Nicola Hall

Nicola is an Associate Solicitor within the Personal Injury Department at Osbornes She primarily represents cyclists who have suffered life-changing injuries as a result of road traffic accidents as well as pedestrians, motorcyclists and drivers.

She has extensive experience of cycling accidents both in the city and rural locations, with expert knowledge of filtering, potholes, dangerous road surfaces and cycle lanes. She represents both adults and children within the Osbornes Cycling Team. 

Nicola specialises in complex orthopaedic fractures, loss of limbs, brachial plexus injuries, brain and spinal injuries, fatalities and psychiatric harm.

Nicola qualified as a solicitor in 2013, before becoming an Associate in 2019. She has built up a wealth of experience representing Claimant’s over the last 10 years, in road traffic accidents, together with public liability claims, accidents within the workplace as well as child abuse litigation.

Nicola is noted within Legal 500 as a leading lawyer within the Personal Injury Team at Osbornes and has established excellent relationships with leading Personal Injury barristers in London. She is known for her 5* trust pilot testimonials and press coverage.

Nicola is known for her personable and down to earth attitude. She prides herself on establishing client solicitor relationships at the outset of a case which are maintained until completion. She ensures that rehabilitation is in place to aid her client’s recovery and that the care needs of each client is looked at on an individual basis.

Nicola has vast experience of dealing with psychological injuries and will devote time and attention in supporting her clients.

Nicola is a keen road cyclist and has participated in both RIDE 100 and London to Brighton. She heads up the Osbornes Charity Committee and is actively involved in community projects and initiatives involving Spinal Injuries Association, Limbless Association, and Headway East London.

Recent cases include:-

  • Representing a cyclist who was attempting a Guiness World Record on a tandem bicycle who sustained complex orthopaedic and dental injuries following a road traffic accident and defective bicycle tyre.
  • Representing a pillion passenger on a motorbike, who sustained catastrophic injuries after colliding with a tractor and hay bailer.
  • Representing a bereaved family in a Fatal Accidents Act claim involving a man in his thirties who died following a road traffic accident with a driver who was convicted of dangerous driving.
  • Representing a motorcyclist who sustained a traumatic brain injury following a road accident where he was knocked off by a speeding car.
  • Representing a cyclist who sustained a significant tibial plateau fracture and psychological injuries, after a driver collided with her and then drove over her.

 

Nicola has been a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL)  since 2013 and works closely with the London Cycling Campaign. She is the Joint Coordinator of APIL’s Transport special interest group.
