Paul Morpeth

Paul is a solicitor with over 15 years post qualification experience dealing almost exclusively with personal injury cases.

Paul joined the Complex Claims Team at Winn Solicitors in August 2014 after nearly 10 years at Thompsons Solicitors where he dealt with most aspects of personal injury, but predominantly accidents at work.

Paul has enjoyed success in securing significant settlements for his clients whilst ensuring that they have access to excellent rehabilitation services to aid their recovery.

This has included a recent settlement of £265,000 for a client who suffered multiple, life changing injuries in an accident at work. Paul is currently dealing with a Multi-track case valued at approximately £200,000 for a client who suffered a significant shoulder injury in a car accident and has been unable to work for over 3 years with a significant loss of income.  Paul has developed an excellent rapport with his clients with one client’s son stating, “The service we received from Paul and his team was as good as it gets”.

In 2017 Paul moved from the Complex team into a management role within Winn Solicitors. He now heads a department which is split into two specialised teams, who deal with fast track – moderate multi-track level EL/PL cases as well as higher value/more complex RTA cases.  Paul has begun to increase the amount of new cases coming into the firm which falls into these categories, which in turn has led to the expansion of both teams and therefore the department.

In September 2018, Paul was elected to the post of regional secretary for the North East branch of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Paul has been recommended in the 2019 edition of the Legal 500.
