Rona Hayworth is a Partner at Digby Brown, representing clients injured abroad or while visiting Scotland. She is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Personal Injury Law and is an APIL Accredited Senior Litigator. Rona regularly advises on complex cases involving jurisdictional challenges, foreign law, aviation and maritime incidents, package holiday claims, and offshore accidents. Rona was the lead solicitor in the internationally significant case Colin Mather v EasyJet Airline Company Ltd & DRK Hamburg Mediservice gGmbH, where the Inner House of the Court of Session clarified an important point of aviation law regarding when an airline is responsible for the actions of personnel assisting passengers. This judgment strengthened protections for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility and has shaped how similar cases are approached.

Rona is a member of the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL) and currently chairs the PEOPIL New Lawyers Group.
