Camilla is an associate solicitor and has over six years’ experience working within the medical negligence department.
Camilla currently assists Suzanne White, Head of the Medical Negligence Department, with a wide variety of cases, with a special focus on claims for children and mothers arising from birth injury including cerebral palsy, as well as other severe debilitating injuries.
Camilla was part of the legal team who successfully represented Ms Cullen in the case of Cullen -v- Dr Henniker-Major where there were unfounded allegations of fundamental dishonesty, resulting in HHJ Ambrose dismissing all the allegations of fundamental dishonesty and awarding indemnity costs against Dr Henniker-Major.
Camilla also works on a variety of high value and complex medical negligence cases involving neurological injuries, orthopaedic injuries, fatal accident claims and delays in diagnosis.
Camilla has a particular interest in issues affecting women’s health focusing on obstetrics and gynaecology injuries. Camilla has experience representing families at inquests (including those that engage Article 2) following the death of family members, including providing support and assistance to families where mothers and babies have sadly died in a hospital setting.
