Ashleigh Robinson-Beaumont

Ashleigh is a chartered legal executive in the restructuring and insolvency team at Irwin Mitchell LLP.

One of Ashleigh’s specialisms is to provide bespoke advice to personal injury lawyers as to the implications of defendant corporate entities being subject to formal insolvency procedures, including compulsory / members / creditors liquidation, administration and company voluntary arrangements, as part of which Ashleigh regularly advises upon the merits of using the Third Parties (Rights Against Insurers) Act 2010.

Ashleigh has significant experience of running the various court claims / applications as are required to enable personal injury claims to continue against defendant corporate entities subject to formal insolvency procedures.  This includes dealing with claims to restore companies to the Register of Companies under the Companies Act 2006, as well as applications for permission / to defer dissolution under the Insolvency Act 1986.

Ashleigh also specialises in providing bespoke advice to personal injury lawyers as to the implications of claimant clients being subject to formal insolvency procedures, including bankruptcy, individual voluntary arrangements and debt relief orders.  Ashleigh regularly negotiates with trustees in bankruptcy, official receivers and IVA supervisors so as to enable claimants to continue with their personal injury claims.

Prior to joining Irwin Mitchell in 2016, Ashleigh practised in civil litigation as a County Court Advocate for a number of years and, as such, is able to advocacy services to her clients.
