Nathaniel is a senior associate solicitor who specialises in international travel litigation. Nathaniel acts exclusively for claimants who have sustained serious injuries abroad and for foreign nationals who have sustained serious injuries in the UK.
Nathaniel has experience of dealing with a wide range of cases including skiing accidents, road traffic accidents, public liability claims, employers’ liability claims, assault, sexual assault, fatal accidents as well as claims arising from boats and aeroplanes.
He often deals with tricky legal issues including establishing the appropriate law which may apply to a claim as well as the most appropriate jurisdiction for a claim to be pursued. He deals with foreign jurisdiction cases as well as cases pursued under the Package Travel Regulations.

- Acting in a case which was the first jurisdictional challenge post-Brexit, which was attempting to determine whether a claimant injured in a skiing accident in France should have their case heard in English or French courts.
- Acting on behalf of a client who sustained a severe traumatic brain injury following a slip on an oil spill in the Isle of Man, leaving the client with life-changing injuries.
- Acting on behalf of a client who suffered with a below-knee amputation in a cycling accident in France.
