Giles took silk in 2019. He specialises in catastrophic personal injury and clinical negligence claims and won the Chambers and Partners Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence Junior of the Year award in 2018. He has a healthy claimant / defendant split of work, acting in claims of the highest value and complexity. Giles is currently engaged in several cases worth in excess of £10 million including claims involving, brain damage, limb amputations and severe spinal injuries. Recent settlements acting for claimants have included numerous multimillion £ awards in cases involving, Cerebral Palsy, Erbs Palsy, severe brain damage, Cauda Equina Syndrome, paralysis and amputations.
Giles has extensive experience and expertise fighting trials as he relishes taking on difficult liability issues for both Claimants and Defendants.
