I am a Partner in the Serious Injury Team of Hugh James Solicitors, working at both the Hugh James Cardiff and Manchester offices.
I qualified in 1998 and have spent almost all of my career exclusively practicing Claimant personal injury work. Over the last 20 years I have specialised in cases involving serious injuries and fatalities.
I have been a member of APIL since 2001 and an accredited Senior Litigator since 2016.
I am a “hands on” case handling lawyer with a genuine interest in transport issues and a true believer in the positive difference that a Claimant personal injury lawyer can make to the lives of injured people.
We work during a period of intense downward pressure on costs and regularly face the suggestion that this work is straightforward. I know that the factual and legal issues in our cases can be incredibly complex. We do a difficult job for our clients and navigating these cases is made much easier if there is a forum for sharing knowledge, expertise and for building connections.
As SIG joint coordinator I aim to utilise all of my experience, connections and my genuine subject matter interest to contribute to the APIL community with the hope that the content of the group meetings remains varied, relevant and interesting to everyone who attends.
