Chris Floyd began his logistics career 20 years ago as a Category C HGV driver. From there roles have included C+E driving work, Traffic Clerk, Shift Manager, Logistics Planner, Operations Manager, General Manager and then into Specialist roles within Road Safety, Victim support and Incident Investigation. Chris is the current Chair for RoSPA’s National Road Safety Committee and also serves in the same role for the Institute of Couriers Road Safety & Wellbeing Group. A passionate supporter of training and development Chris is also an occasional guest lecturer at the University of West London for their Final Mile Degree course, speaking on Road Safety along with Crisis & Resilience Management. Chris holds Fellowships of the Royal Geographical Society & The Institute of Couriers, a Chartered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport along with various other professional associations.
