He has worked as a medicolegal expert witness since 2000, specialising in noise-induced hearing loss and personal injury litigation, and has acted as an expert in medical negligence cases over the past 10 years, as well as serving as an expert for the General Medical Council.
He combines active surgical practice with extensive courtroom experience in complex claims acting for both claimants and defendants; Including appearances in the High Court on several occasions.
