STATEMENT FROM THE ASSOCIATION OF PERSONAL INJURY LAWYERS (APIL)

After heeding our members’ concerns about the chaos which ensued following the decision in Mazur, and the brutal impact it had on the wellbeing of our paralegal and legal executive members, it was essential that APIL speak up as the unique voice for the PI sector. We are therefore delighted that the Court has listened and the judgment handed down today is the right decision. 

We will review the judgment in detail and seek to work closely with the regulators on any guidance they issue in order to ensure our members are fully supported.
